In May 2009, the Vietnam National Orchestra organised a concert titled "Ta Bon – Melodies of Time" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first solo violin performance by Professor, People’s Artist Ta Bon at the Grand Hall of the Chinese Central Conservatory of Music in 1958 before he went to Romania for an international violin contest. The audience was greatly impressed by the artist's surprising performance full of vitality. Ta Bon is a master violinist and a famous teacher in Vietnam. |
